During my journey through Namibia with Kevin Richberg for the 30 Postcards Project we have visited the town of Swakopmund.
Surrounded by the desert and the Atlantic Ocean, Swakopmund has a interesting mild desert climate, which means that temperatures ranges between 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F). I have to admit that it’s a surprising situation: temperatures are reasonable, there is water, lot of humidity in the air and still the desert is everywhere: unfortunately the soil is not fertile, with the desert sand occupying all the place.
Hence you can find yourself in the middle of the desert in a foggy day.
